Our Advisory Groups

Young Professionals/Nova Ambassadorss
During the 2007-2008 season, Orchestra Nova San Diego initiated several programs designed to reach out to Young Professionals in the Orchestra Nova San Diego, primarily through special social events before concerts.

The interest from many of the Young Professionals resulted in the formation of the Young Professionals Advisory Group to the Orchestra. The Advisory Group was briefed by Maestro Pak on his vision for the Orchestra, after which their suggestions for marketing to Young Professionals were offered.

This program evolved into the Nova Ambassadors program in 2011. Nova Ambassadors are selected because of their passion for Orchestra Nova and their desire to become ambassadors for Nova within their own social networks. Orchestra Nova provides individualized tools to assist each of them with their specific activities.

Anyone wishing to participate should contact marketing@orchestranova.org

Media Advisory Board
During the 2007-2008 season, Orchestra Nova (then known as the San Diego Chamber Orchestra) initiated programs to focus on media coverage. One of the first of those programs was the formation of the Media Advisory Group, consisting of three media professionals from local television outlets.
